Even if there wasn’t direct commerce, there was likely always trade nearly since the beginning of mankind. Business has drastically changed over the past ten to twenty years and is quickly still changing. Rapid change is a heavy demand for anyone looking to keep their business relevant and financially sustainable. In this article, you’ll find reasons why I feel writing and researching areas of practice in business will keep me at top performance.

My Thoughts On Business

In my field of work such as go-to-market strategy, product marketing, and product management each requires diverse knowledge of businesses. Many roles can get away with specific business knowledge and keep using those skills daily. In my work, one day I could be mainly doing project management, and another day completely researching competitive intelligence or writing creative briefs and need to add metrics and can’t wait for the data analyst to send some info over so I need to do it myself. There are a lot of skills needed and maybe aren’t necessary, however, writing and crafting my business skills make me faster at what I do, a better thinker, and a stronger asset for teams I work with.
